For the first week of July, a group of Year 11 and Year 12 students had an awesome opportunity to co-host the Fresh Breakfast program with Chloe from Rhema.
Six HCS students were heard live across the airwaves for Rhema’s Next Generation segment, where the local community radio station brought in students from high schools across the region.
Conversations varied from: hair styles, the pro’s and con’s of social media and what faith looks like from their perspective. It was such a wonderful experience for our students, and shows that the next generation is full of hope, inspiration and authenticity.
At HCS we are training students to confidently engage with the media, it’s one of the many ways we are preparing students for life beyond the school gates.
Thank you to Rhema 99.7 for having us!
