“COVID-19 was a defining moment for education. It taught us there are many ways to engage, educate and prepare students for academic excellence and the future workforce. School should be about more than just exam marks on a page.

“We are introducing creative ways to teach students: from assessments with real work industry to entrepreneurship classes and creating an online school. We are creating an education experience that is responding to the needs, interests and potential of our students and preparing them for the jobs and careers of the future workforce.

“From Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, our students are engaging with industry experts, and working with local and national partners to create a career pathway they can feel confident about when they finish school.

“From launching a business academy to partnering with Harvard University to train our teachers on neuroscience, Hunter Christian School is innovating today so our students can be leaders tomorrow.” Dr Herd said.

Open day is an opportunity for the local community to hear about the different ways Hunter Christian School is preparing students for life beyond the school gates.
