School Counsellor(s) - Part or Full Time Possibilities

Hunter Christian School is a caring and growing school community seeking to increase the provision of counselling services to students for the 2021 academic year.

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals. We have some flexibility regarding the number of positions available and the part / full-time loading available depending on the qualifications, experience and availability of applicants.

It is expected that applicants would be:

  • Committed Christians, actively involved in a local church;
  • Trained mental health professionals with a Diploma of Counselling or a Degree in Psychology
  • Committed to the vision of Christian schooling;
  • Able to collaborate with educational professionals in the provision of care for students

Any appointment(s) made will be temporary for 2021 only. There may be scope for a further period of employment beyond 2021 subject to the circumstances being suitable. Enterprise Agreement wages and conditions apply. Hunter Christian School is a Child Safe School. Employment screening for working with children is mandatory.
