CanTeen National Bandanna Day
For this year’s CanTeen National Bandanna fundraiser, we sold bandannas in the Secondary and Primary Departments over two weeks.
On the Friday of the first week in the Secondary Department, we held a fundraiser BBQ and out of uniform day. We also sold donuts throughout all breaks that day and had a sausage sizzle at lunch. It was great to see everybody get involved and support the cause. When you looked across the playground almost everyone was wearing a bandanna, if not two. We sold over 300 bandannas over the two weeks and combined with the BBQ, we raised a massive $2067!
We wouldn’t have reached this incredible amount without the help of Angie Clark from Year 12, the Staff, including Mrs Hessel, Mrs Hickey and Ms Mac, the Prefects and students.
A big “Thank You” must also go to Adams Family Meats who donated the sausages and Bakers Delight Jesmond for the bread. - Alicia Pinder
